Christine is a Registered Psychotherapist and the founder of Focus Forward Therapy Group since 2014.
Her goal was to create a boutique style mental health clinic in Ottawa. She currently supervises the wonderful clinicians at the boutique as well as clinicians working outside of FFTG.

Clients who come to her are presenting with sports psychology needs, trauma or high achievers. I am not accepting new clients but happy to answer any questions you may have. My team of clinicians are currently taking on clients.

Jenny is a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, Holistic Wellness practitioner, and Childbirth/Prenatal Educator who Jenny offers health and lifestyle counselling and assessments with a keen interest in mind body connection, the intersection of east meets west in medicine, and empowering clients in knowledge and skills to shift, reset, and create a life they love.

She offers health and lifestyle counselling and assessments using Brief Solution Focused therapies, health promotion, new skill development, and evidence-based research and practices.

Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) working under the supervision of Christine Harrison, RP.

With Sarah’s experience in Healthcare and mental health facilities, she works with compassion and approaches each individual with an integrative perspective, and a holistic approach. She specializes in individuals coping with illness, disability, and life transitions. Using compassion and evidence-based strategies, she empowers clients to navigate challenges.

Kate is a Registered Dietitian who has experiences in both the adult and pediatric populations and is passionate about helping women use nutrition strategies that are unique to their current life stage, whether that’s helping them prepare for a pregnancy or navigate post-menopause.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Mount Saint Vincent University, and her Masters in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Toronto.

Laura Zychla is a recent graduate from Athabasca University with a Master’s Degree in Counselling and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Laura is supervised by Christine Harrison, RP. She has a diverse skill set that allows her to advocate with strength and through evidence-based means, using project management to support clients.

Katrina is a registered social worker and registered social service worker who supports children, teens, adults, and families experiencing a variety of challenges.
She provides a client-centered approach with her role being to support and empower clients through their journey of personal discovery and self-reflection. Katrina aims to create a non-judgmental, empathetic, safe, and collaborative space where clients can feel empowered to heal and grow by employing an integrative strategy using a variety of modalities to suit individual needs because one size does not fit all.

Erica is a registered massage therapist (RMT) with an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy from Algonquin College, graduated in 2017. She is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
Erica has worked with a diverse clientele, including traumatic brain injury patients, pre-natal and post-natal individuals, university athletes, and Veterans. She offers treatments using techniques such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, TMJ release techniques, Swedish massage, and deep tissue therapy.

Nicole is a Registered Psychotherapist(Qualifying)and Art Therapist registered with the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA)
Nicole uses trauma-informed care using a client-centered approach based on psychodynamic theory and utilizing CBT and mindfulness practices. Nicole also recognizes the value of an interdisciplinary approach and can incorporate diverse theories into the art therapy practice, tailored to the client's needs.

Adrianna has worked with a variety of individuals as a behaviour therapist and deeply enjoys helping others improve their mental health and well-being. She is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families. She is constantly pursuing new learning opportunities, and works with clients to meet their needs using an evidence-based approach. Adrianna offers counselling services in English to individuals and their families.

Kim Franchina is our dedicated Nurse Injector at Focus Forward Therapy Group. With over 2 decades of experience in the healthcare industry, Kim is passionate about integrating cutting-edge treatments to promote overall wellness and self-care.
Kim is a registered nurse with specialized training in the use of therapeutic Tox's (neurotoxins), which have gained recognition for their multifaceted benefits in mental wellness and self-care. At our clinic, Kim employs these treatments to help patients alleviate symptoms of chronic migraines, tension headaches,
and even certain types of muscle pain that can be linked to mental stress and anxiety.

Vicki has been a physiotherapist for over 21 years and has worked in a variety of areas in the profession. Clinically, she has focused on sports physiotherapy, earning a Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy in 2007. She also uses soft tissue techniques, exercise, modalities, and manual
therapy in her approach to injury management.
She believes in modifying activities and not stopping them completely during your rehab! She loves to work with clients who stay active or want to become active to enjoy their life. She prides herself on being an ethical practitioner and
will work with you on your needs and situation.
